Sensational British/Dutch trio Cubicolor share brand new single ‘Cowboy’, from their forthcoming album ‘Sometime Not Now’ out October 28 on Anjunadeep.
Cubicolor are a British/Dutch three piece that lie somewhere in between the electronic and indie genre, consisting of Ariaan, Peter and Tim hailing from notably different backgrounds, all with very successful previous musical experiences behind them. The latest release from the trio titled ‘Cowboy’ comes as the bands second song from their upcoming album and follows on from their incredible single ‘Summer & Smoke’. When speaking on ‘Cowboy’ the band state: “This song was written during the Brainsugar sessions and we never found its true form until now. A vocal led piece about seeking adventure and all the risks and fears that come with that.” ‘Sometime Not Now’ was inspired by the concept of taking your chances when life presents them to you, along with the thoughts of hope and regret, and the constant battles of risk and reward. Cubicolor explains In a statement that summarises the album ‘Sometime Not Now’ is all about taking your chances in life when you have them. The album contains gems that the band were sitting on for a long time, and is a body of work that is filled with introspection, self-reflection and critical thinking, whilst on a musical level is bold, expansive and a big statement from the British/Dutch trio in claiming their place among the musical elite.
