Anjunadeep Monthly Newsletter #013 - August 2022
Hello everyone,
Another month has flown by here at Anjunadeep HQ. We've been so busy, in fact, that we're even sending our monthly newsletter a little belatedly!
September saw us release new music from artists including Luttrell, Rezident and Khen, and welcomed Ida Engberg, Innellea and James Shinra to the family. We also hit the dancefloor with thousands of you at Dockyards London, and announced our return to the iconic Press Halls at Printworks 💥
This month is set to bring plenty more excitement, as we’ll be releasing Cubicolor’s third album ‘Sometime Not Now’, and announcing a brand new album from a certain familiar face... 🌙👢👀
All that, and we’re heading to Los Angeles for a dose of deep in the sun! Keep reading for more on that...
An Old Friend with a New Album... 🎹
An album that was released in September, and one that may have slipped under the radar, is ‘Mono No Aware’, the new, piano-led album from longtime friend of the label, Martin Roth. Released on our youngest label, Reflections, ‘Mono No Aware’ sees Martin step away from the club, exploring his musical roots as a classically-trained pianist. Featuring singles 'Alicia's Noir' and 'Sine Waves’, alongside 11 brand new compositions.
Before he began working with the team at Reflections, Martin was releasing some of Anjunadeep’s most memorable hits, from the hilariously-named ‘Organic Cold Brewed Hipster Funk’ to uplifting synth offerings like ‘Hypno Seq’, from the downtempo ‘Love Theme’
to the playful ‘Have You Ever’.
We asked Anjunadeep label head James Grant for his favourite Martin Roth records, and he, understandably, wasn’t able to pick just one…

This month, we announced our highly-anticipated return to Printworks London! 🤍 We’ll be heading back for our fourth(!) label showcase on Friday, December 9 with a host of brilliant artists in tow, including Eli & Fur, Moon Boots, Nils Hoffmann, Joseph Ray, Simon Doty and Anyasa.
