David Hasert & Niconé join forces on ‘Dead Inside’, their first release on Anjunadeep Explorations.

Originally from Cologne, David Hasert is a cornerstone of the city’s vibrant club culture. The DJ, live act, and producer is the founder of LIKE Records and head booker at the city’s renowned Reineke Fuchs, where he’s helped foster a new generation of German talent. Known for his soulful, dreamy productions filled with warmth and subtle drive, Hasert’s releases on Kompakt and other leading labels have cemented his place as a respected underground artist.

A veteran DJ, producer, and co-founder of the influential Dantze label, Niconé has been a notable presence in German house music for more than two decades. Known for his genre-blurring sound that moves between deep house, melodic techno, and organic groove, he’s released eight studio albums and numerous singles on respected imprints including Stil vor Talent and Berlin-based KATERMUKKE. In 2011, he released global hit ‘Cajé’ in collaboration with Sascha Braemener on his ‘Romantic Thrills’ LP which remains a touchstone of the era. The signe was recently revived with a 2025 remix by France’s HUGEL on Defected, while his latest album ‘Riding Into The Unknown’ with Dirty Doering continues to showcase his impressive craft in the studio.
