Presenting the second instalment of Anjunachill’s revisited series, Leaving Laurel rework their standout track 'sometimes it's scary, but it's still just you and me’ into a cinematic, beatless composition, lifted from their debut album on Anjunadeep.

Friends on the internet first, and eventually roommates in Los Angeles, Gordon Huntley and Pierce Fulton spent years together making their own separate brands of dance music, long before ever collaborating with one another.

Their first ever release as Leaving Laurel landed on Anjunadeep in 2020, in the form of double A-side ’sometimes it’s scary but it’s still just you and me / Need Little, Want Less’, marking the start of a brilliant relationship between the band and label.

Now, after Pierce's has passing, Gordon revisits ‘sometimes it’s scary…’, a foundational record in their partnership.
