Vancouver-based artist Iain Howie lands on Anjunadeep with the ‘Animal EP’.
A producer, songwriter, and also the vocalist on every EP track, Iain has spent nearly a decade crafting his unique indie-leaning blend of melodic deep house. Combining ODESZA-like melodies with the songwriting and vocal skill found on Monolink tracks, Iain’s end product is genuinely moving dance music that is strongly reminiscent of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s early records.
After recently taking a year-long break from releasing music to further refine his sound, Iain returned in May 2024, appearing on Anjunadeep 15 with EP title track ‘Animal’. He is well-versed in performing across Vancouver’s many grassroots live music venues, and has recently been supported by Canadian promoter FOUNDATION.
