While We Were Dreaming EP

Sonatine return to Anjunadeep with the ‘While We Were Dreaming EP’.

Debuting in February 2025 with ‘Falling Out Of Time / True’, the duo comprises British DJ and producer Fort Romeau and Australian vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Jackson Mico Milas.

Since 2012, British producer Michael Greene, better known as Fort Romeau, has carved out a distinctive space in dance music by blending house, krautrock, ambient, disco, and techno into his signature sound. His first album 'Kingdoms (100% Silk)’, paved the way for a successful partnership with Ghostly International. The album propelled him to the forefront of the global electronic scene, where his work has earned praise from outlets like Pitchfork, Mixmag, and The Guardian, while receiving extensive support from BBC Radio 1 and DJs including Dixon, TSHA, Erol Alkan, and HAAi. He has also collaborated with artists such as La Roux, Chris Baio (Vampire Weekend), and Elderbrook, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and influential artist in electronic music.

Songwriter, producer, and composer Jackson Mico Milas first gained recognition in the 2010s as part of the indie-pop outfit High Highs, touring internationally with acts like Empire of the Sun, Vampire Weekend, and Sky Ferreira. In addition to his work as a performer, Milas has established himself as a sought-after composer for TV and film, including scoring Tim Minchin's acclaimed Sky Atlantic drama ‘Upright'.

The two artists come together once again to bring us new music; Sonatine’s ‘While We Were Dreaming EP’ is out now on Anjunadeep.
