A graduate of Buenos Aires’ prestigious EMBA music school, Nico Szabo has steadily built a reputation in the progressive house world through releases on respected imprints like Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Balance Music, alongside appearances at globally recognised venues like New York’s Under The K Bridge. Backed consistently by names like Guy J, Hernán Cattáneo and Nick Warren, Nico represents an up-and-coming generation of Argentinian talent with a sound that continues to resonate far beyond South America.

Alongside him, Aske Izan has spent the last decade quietly becoming a respected figure within Argentina’s underground circuit, releasing across numerous local progressive labels while earning the attention of key scene tastemakers. A standout moment came in 2024 when Hernán Cattáneo selected a specially edited version of Aske’s track ‘Starship’ as the intro for his set at BNP’s massive annual Forja event. Beyond Argentina, Aske has also taken his sound to Europe with recent appearances in clubs across Barcelona and Mallorca. Together, Nico Szabo and Aske Izan deliver a collaboration that is progressively rooted yet sonically fresh and distinctive.
