Anjunadeep Essentials 02

The second instalment of the Anjunadeep Essentials series marks an exciting celebration of the label’s evolving sound and talent. This edition features six extended mixes carefully selected from the latest catalogue, showcasing a blend of established artists and rising stars who are defining the label’s sound.

Side A opens with a standout rework by Dutch duo 16BL. Their track, ‘Can’t Stop Now’, transforms Ariana Grande’s iconic pop hit ‘no tears left to cry’ into a deep, dancefloor-ready anthem. The energy continues with Ezequiel Arias and Durante’s ‘Dream Controller’, a progressive powerhouse that has resonated across global dancefloors and reached the top spot on Beatport’s Progressive House Chart. Following this is ‘Illusory’ by LA-based producer, vocalist, and songwriter HANA. A standout from her ‘Extended Pray’ EP, the track blends ethereal vocals with intricate synth work and a pulsing bassline, creating an emotive yet driving atmosphere.

Side B begins with ‘Love Shop’ from YOTTO & Something Good. With its sharp synths and propulsive bassline, the track has become a regular highlight in YOTTO’s live sets, including his memorable performance at Anjunadeep Open Air London. Next is German producer Rezident with ‘Shapeshift’ a mesmerising fusion of echoing vocals and refined synth textures. The track showcases his meticulous production style, affirming his reputation as a rising talent. Bringing the collection to a close is Nordfold with ‘Praise The Sun’ - this fresh, uplifting track captivated audiences at Anjunadeep Malta, leaving a lasting impression and providing a fitting finale to Essentials 02.
