Neoclassical composer and producer Cephas Azariah presents a three-track remix package of his acclaimed debut album, ‘Joy Paradox’.

Reimagined by a trio of visionary artists, Anjunadeep mainstay Steven Weston, Canadian-American vocalist & ambient composer Hollie Kenniff and neoclassical pianist Laurel Violet, the project provides a fresh sonic take on standout singles ‘Contours’ and ‘Faber Sanctum’.

Ahead of her debut solo release in 2019, Hollie Kenniff was known for her work in electronic pop outfit Mint Julep with her husband Keith Kenniff, who records as Helios and Goldmund. An accomplished songwriter, vocalist and composer for many years, this trickled down into Hollie’s own releases. Streaked with lush melodies, spanning electronic and acoustic sound waves, Hollie has recently graced the cover of Spotify’s Women Of Ambient, and had her music spotlighted across the pond by Neoclassical composer & pioneer Olafur Arnalds on BBC Radio 3’s Ultimate Calm.

The EP’s final offering comes from London-based neoclassical pianist and composer Laurel Violet, who reveals a delicate rework of ‘Contours’. Aside from releasing her solo works, Laurel has composed & assisted original music for Emmy & BAFTA-nominated British composer Tandis Jenhudson on documentaries across ITV, BBC 1 & BBC 2. As well as writing production music for Universal and various original scores for independent short films.

Joy Paradox (The Remixes) is out now on Anjunachill.
