B27 (The Remixes)

Karyendasoul’s standout track ‘B27’ from the ‘Anjunadeep South Africa’ VA compilation receives remix treatment from Dosem, Because of Art, and BOKKIEULT.

Over the years, Anjunadeep has been fortunate enough to work with some incredible South African artists. We were delighted to present a seven-track compilation of music all originating from South Africa in advance of two Anjunadeep Open Air shows in March 2024 - Johannesburg and Cape Town. Not long after, B27 made its way onto Anjunadeep 15 with a special ‘Interlude Edit’ that quickly cemented itself as one of the highlight musical moments on the compilation.

First releasing music less than 10 years ago, Karyendasoul’s rise to being an internationally recognised talent has been impressively quick. His first album ‘Spiritual Takeover’ arrived in 2017, and in 2021 he released ‘iMali’ featuring Zakes Bantwini and Nana Atta which spent five weeks at #1 in the South African radio charts and later went on to achieve RiSA certified platinum status. With his second album ‘We Live 4 Our Music’ coming in 2023 and a set at Tomorrowland in 2024, Karyendasoul has well and truly made his mark on the Afro house world.

The remix package features a hard-hitting breakbeat take on the record by British DJ and producer Because of Art, a progressive rework from Spanish DJ and producer Dosem, and an alternate Afro house version from fellow South African artist BOKKIEULT.
